Why the customer is NOT king for me
I don't like the statement "With us the customer is king".
And that for two reasons. It is a worn-out phrase and therefore worthless as a statement. And do people really want a humble attitude without thinking and plain language?
My dream customers don't want that!
The ideal of king and servant no longer works today. What is the coexistence of king and servant? To obey. Awe. Not resist talking. Just no plain text. No own thinking. The servant is a subordinate and lets everything be done with him. Quite apart from the fact that as a service provider I don't want to be treated like that. The customer doesn't want it that way either. He wants a REAL customer focus.
What do you think my customers would do to me if I, as a vet, say yes and amen to everything? What if I don't speak plain text? If I don't disagree? Or do you want to step into the buttocks in a well-groomed way? You would rightly not pay me a euro for it. Because real customer orientation benefits the customer. And doesn't speak empty-handed, and that's what I expect in every segment. The bricklayer who told me we'd better not tear the wall down now.
